Terms & Conditions for Direct-to-Consumer Alcohol Sales in the EU and UK
1. We operate this website (hosted by Shopify Inc., 151 O’Connor Street, Ground Floor, Ottawa, ON K2P 2L8, Canada) and sell alcoholic beverages to consumers in the EU and UK with VAT number FR74990511479.
2. Legal Drinking Age By placing an order on this website, you confirm that you are of legal drinking age in your country of residence:

3. Products Our products contain alcohol and are only intended for responsible consumption by adult consumers over the legal drinking age in your country of residence.
All descriptions and prices are subject to change without notice. Product packaging may vary slightly from images. Products are biologically active and may evolve over time, including changes in color and taste. They must be stored in specific conditions: in a dry place, away from light, at a stable temperature (around 20°C), and away from chemicals.
4. Ordering and Payment By submitting an order:

You agree to pay the displayed price including any applicable taxes and delivery fees.

5. Delivery We currently deliver to selected countries within the EU and the UK:

Deliveries are fulfilled by a licensed distributor based in France.

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only.

Title and risk in the products pass to you upon delivery.

Products will be shipped within two (2) to three (3) business days from the confirmation of the order by Goldenbird. Estimated delivery times are as follows:

Within mainland France: 3 to 5 business days.

Within Europe: 4 to 8 business days

Outside Europe: 5 to 10 business days.

Restrictions:

We do not deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.

Orders may be refused if local laws restrict alcohol deliveries.
6. Excise Duty and VAT Prices include applicable excise duties and VAT based on the destination country. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with any local import restrictions.
7. Returns and Refunds We comply with EU and UK consumer protection laws, including:

A 14-day right of withdrawal for unopened products (cooling-off period).

To request a return, contact us at contact@goldenbirdcocktails.com within 14 days of delivery.

Refunds will be issued upon receipt of returned goods in saleable condition.

Shipping costs for returns are the buyer's responsibility unless the product is faulty.
8. Liability We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the purchased product.
